Alternate Winning Conditions

Although the current endgame was designed to keep everyone involved right up until the end of the race, players may wish to use the following rules to give the leader a better chance of winning and to provide a better sense of "realism".

When the first player completes three laps in the counterclockwise direction, instead of ending the game, complete the entire turn. Then award the game to the player who completed all three laps and moved the most number of squares past the finish line. If players are tied on the track, award the game to the player that crossed the finish line first.

More Fun at the Starting Gun

For a little more variety, try passing out two Gadget cards to each player before the race begins. Each player should select one of the two cards to add to his hand, then discard the other card. Shuffle all of the discarded Gadget cards, then start the race as usual.
